Robyn’s key strength lies in her ability to problem solve, seek and utilize opportunities and to rally support for projects by nurturing relationships to strengthen networks and projects. She has represented the region on a number of state government panels and advisory committees with key interests in urban design and community development. The Manager of Regional Development plays a key role in improving
• RDA’s ability to act as a catalyst for sustainable investment and industry in the Northern Rivers region through creative partnerships with key stakeholders;
• identifying issues and determining solutions to barriers; and
• determining additional assistance and support to develop mechanisms to access this support.
 

As Administration Manager, Danielle plays a pivotal role in ensuring the co-ordination of the activities and team members of RDA-NR in an efficient and friendly way. She holds a key position in assisting the CEO and Board to ensure alignment with strategic, operational and project plans. Danielle manages the financial, IT and administration systems  and is experienced in providing support and facilitation.  Danielle’s effectiveness lies in her proficiency to assist the RDA staff to deliver diverse and dynamic projects while often being the point of contact for clients and organisations.

Ruth is coordinating the Green Industries Project.  Green industries include businesses involved in creating environmental benefit (including environmental management, renewable energy, sustainable technologies, sustainable agriculture, water and waste management).
The Green Industries Project aims to gather baseline data on these businesses and the challenges and opportunities they face. The information will be used to inform RDA work to support green industries across the region.  Ruth comes to the RDA with a background in administration, environmental management and research, and a commitment to sustainable development.
 

Lois has worked in economic development areas for the past 15 years.  A former teacher and adventurer, she has extensive experience in the hospitality industry – from owning and operating restaurants and hotels to holding a range of management positions in major hotel chains.  She is passionate about small business development, and the role that successful business plays in developing the social fabric of our region. Lois is available from Tuesday to Thursdays inclusive.
