The NRF Grower Group welcomes members & non-members along to a Q&A session titled “Alternate paths to new markets”, to be held at the Old Bakery, Harvest Newrybar on 6 April 2017.
A panel of local speakers will share their experiences and insights on developing new food ventures, markets, food products & on-farm tourism.
The event will be facilitated by Mark Napper, The Business Bloke and Chair of the NRF Grower Group, and will include:
- Deb Allard, Cheeses Loves You – experience setting up a new dairy in Burringbar
- Johnson Hunter, The Farm – two years down the track lessons learnt
- Jane Laverty, NSW Business Chamber – offering top tips for working with councils
- Andrew Cameron, Byron Creek Farm – experience setting up new chicken meat business
