Enova Community Energy is set to become Australia’s first community energy retailer after having reached its minimum capital raise milestone
Due to a rush on share applications in the final week of the Enova Community Energy share offer, the new energy retailer has decided to extend the offer to 17 December 2015
Northern Rivers BioHubs, led by Sustain Northern Rivers, is holding workshops to inform the community and provide an opportunity for feedback on the use of bioenergy as a sustainable energy source for the Northern Rivers.
Enova Community Energy is well on the way to achieving its minimum start-up capital of $3 million, with $1.1 million subscribed in less than 6 weeks. To allow greater opportunity for investment the share offer has been extended to close at 5.00pm (AEST) on 27 November 2015.
A new group has been founded in Mullumbimby with an aim to create a totally renewable energy future for the town. Community-Owned Renewable Energy Mullumbimby have received seed funding through the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage to hold a community gathering that aims to foster conversations about renewable Mullumbimby
