The North Coast Primary Health Network (NCPHN) is calling for expressions of interest from organisations to participate in a free 12-month Substance Misuse Program. Organisations on the NSW North Coast who provide case management services in a range of settings (e.g. Housing, Employment, Aboriginal Services, Refuges, Youth Services, Community Services) are encouraged to apply.
NCPHN’s vision for the Substance Misuse Program is to improve the capacity of a broad range of health and community service providers to work with people (particularly Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islanders) who have substance misuse problems, including crystal methamphetamine, in addition to their presenting concerns (particularly mental health concerns).
Successful applicants will have access to free training and ongoing individual and group mentoring to support them to more effectively work with clients with substance use problems.
Organisations may nominate more than one worker to attend the Program.
