Northern Rivers-based Enova Energy Pty Ltd, has begun rolling out energy plans to shareholders and early supporters, signing up its very first customers. Enova has approached more than 1,500 supporters in advance of its full launch to the public, which is expected in about three weeks.
While it is still early days, the initial responses have been highly enthusiastic. “We are excited by the response we have had so far, which has returned a 100% sign up rate of new customers approached” said Enova CEO Steve Harris.
This initial roll out to supporters is providing the Enova team with a chance to test offers, systems and processes, and to get real time feedback so necessary adjustments could be made before officially launching to a wider public audience later in the month.
Included in the offer is the opportunity to support the Enova Renewable Development Initiative. Customers are given the option to put aside 13% of their standard bill, which will then be used to assist communities with business case development.
“We are particularly impressed with the number of people who have chosen to support our Renewable Development Initiative, this is what power by the people for the people really looks like” said Steve
