This summer, RDA – Northern Rivers is partnering with Business NSW, State and Commonwealth agencies to support local businesses to fill their job opportunities with local jobseekers and school leavers through the My Future Workforce platform.
As Greater Sydney opens, employers are expecting increased visitation over the summer.
This means more local employers are seeking to fill positions in hospitality, retail and other sectors to meet the demand.
Director of RDA Northern Rivers Tim Williamson said, “Feedback from employers is that they are preparing for a busy summer and are looking to give young locals a start.
“We also know there are young people who are keen to take the first step in their career path.”
The Summer of Jobs is bringing employers and jobseekers together through the free, easy to use online My Future Workforce Platform.
By matching jobseekers to listed jobs, the platform provides a unique opportunity for employers to find job-ready staff.
By registering on the platform, jobseekers share their skills with potential employers and are matched to jobs in their local area.
