A free forum, coordinated by the Tweed and Byron shire councils through their Koala Connections Program, will be held on Friday 6 May 2016 at the Byron Community Centre in Byron Bay. Tweed Byron Koala Connections was established in 2013 to address the threats impacting the coastal koala populations in Tweed and Byron Shires. The project has resulted in the creation of 55 hectares of new koala habitat on more than 120 priority sites.

Project leaders will share their stories and give forum participants opportunities to present feedback and ideas in open discussion. Seating is limited so it is advised to book and secure a place at the forum.  Bookings can be made here
