Renew Fest is happening 6 & 7 May 2017 in Mullumbimby and is a festival celebrating collaborative action towards a sustainable future. Topics covered include food, ethical economics, renewable energy, nature’s biodiversity, humanity renewal and human habitat. Speakers, including Robert Pekin, Lesley Hughes, Robin Grille, Helena Norberg Hodge and many more will be sharing their knowledge and passion. There will also be panels, kids activities, workshops, stalls, music, entertainment, and lots of positive people.
The purpose of the festival is to unite the different sustainability sectors into one space and one conversation and in doing so this year raise funds to support COREM (Community Owned Renewable Energy Mullumbimby) towards their target of Mullumbimby being 100% run on renewable energy by 2020.
It is a ticketed event and runs across two days, with under 16 year olds free. Tickets are available through the Renew Fest website.
