A series of field days, hosted by the ‘champions’ of the Rural Landholder Initiative, will provide local landholders with an opportunity to learn about restoration of agricultural land. The eleven field days will be held from March to September with the first, Bexhill Dairy and Biodiversity Field Day, being held on Wednesday 23 March 2016. The field days focus on the conservation of natural assets and cover a broad range of land uses including rural lifestyle, grazing, orchards, lowland cropping and mixed land use.

The Lismore City Council’s Rural Landholder Initiative has been assisted by a $100,000 NSW Environment Trust grant and $50,000 from the Council’s Partnering Fund.
