A workshop is being held in Grafton on Monday 9 November 2015 for Aboriginal business owners who may be interested in tendering for contracts on the Pacific Highway upgrade.
The workshop is a practical information session from the NSW Department of of Finance which will include:
- The available procurement schemes
- How do government departments buy? What rules do they have to follow?
- What are new policies? What are the Non-metro purchasing directions? What exemption rules apply?
- How to start, who to contact?
- What is e-tendering v tendering?
- What are mandatory v optional attributes that could preclude a supplier?
- How to respond to a tender?
- Effectively matching your business to the right opportunity
The workshop is being held on Monday 9th November from 12pm to 4:30pm at the Grafton Community & Function Centre, 59 Duke St Grafton NSW 2460
A light lunch will be served from 12 to 12:30pm
