Bianca Spata
Bianca Spata is an experienced lawyer and financial services professional, with over 20 years’ experience obtained across ASX-listed corporates and global private practice law firms. Her expertise spans debt funding, capital markets, investor relations and corporate governance and she has represented industry bodies in engaging with regulators and government. Most recently, Bianca was the Group Treasurer at an ASX-listed non-bank financial services company. In this role, Bianca was responsible for the group’s capital, liquidity and interest rate risk management and funding of the group’s A$5bn global receivables portfolio. Prior to moving into corporate finance in 2017, Bianca was a practising lawyer advising domestic and offshore banks and financiers on large debt financing and capital markets transactions in senior roles at both Allen & Overy and Clayton Utz. Bianca holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from Macquarie University and a Master of Laws from the University of New South Wales. She completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2022. Bianca is passionate about using her skills and experience to further strengthen the RDA’s role in supporting and advancing the local economy and community.
